Meet The Team
At Dutchess
Meet Gerie, the owner and founder of Dutchess Flower Company, whose passion for flowers began early. She studied Horticulture and Floral Design in the Netherlands before moving to Canada at 21. With over 30 years of industry experience — including teaching floral design at Olds College and working in several local shops — Gerie eventually fulfilled her dream of opening a European-style flower destination on main street Lacombe.
We operate out of a beautifully restored auto garage in the heart of downtown Lacombe featuring original brickwork and vintage signage that hints at its early 20th-century roots. The space blends history with heart, reflecting the care we put into every detail.
Step through our doors and you’ll be greeted with warmth, authenticity, and curated floral design that feels as intentional as it is beautiful. We’re proud to serve Lacombe, Blackfalds, and the greater Central Alberta community.

Gerie’s Story
